Hosted virtually on June 24, the "HimGra Italtex Design for ICON 2025" unveiled a new wave of luxury rooted in regeneration. Crafted by design students and emerging talent from across India, the collection celebrates silhouettes stitched not just from Italtex Trend Book 26/27 HimGra fabrics, but from conscience — all using HimGra, a wild Himalayan grass fiber with zero water, pesticide, or seed carbon impact.

Emerging Voices, Iconic Visions

Over 50 designers participated in this season’s challenge — to create looks for global fashion icons like Stella McCartney, Milind Soman, and Jennifer Aniston, but with a Himalayan soul. Supported by Italtex SRL (Italy), HimGra fabrics became the canvas for silhouettes that blend minimalism, craft, and climate integrity.

"These weren’t just looks — they were philosophies made wearable," said jury member Shuchi Vora. India Head Global Resilience Partnerships

the HimGra Italtex Look Book 26/27

The Look Book is more than a collection — it's a sourcebook for fashion buyers, an inspiration tool for educators, and a platform for emerging voices. Each spread links the design to its story, fiber origin, and potential for responsible sourcing.

"It’s a fusion of climate consciousness and couture — the kind of look brands need to source better,” said jury member Salil Chawla Director DFU Publications
